Waterford Reading Academy: Adjusting Student Level, Placement, and Assessments for Administrators

As a district or school administrator, you have the ability to modify a student's current level, assign a new placement, and adjust benchmark assessments.

To adjust student level or placement:

  1. Log in to your account and visit the Courses and Goals tab.

  1. Select the student whose current level or placement you would like to adjust.

  1. Select the Curriculum you want to adjust and click the Goals & Settings down arrow to open the Current Level options.
  2. Select the desired level for the student from the dropdown menu or select Placement for the student(s) from the dropdown menu.
Although Fluent Reading 2 and 3 are selection options, they will revert to Fluent Reading 1 to ensure no skill gaps occur.

  1. Select Save.
A child can be enrolled in Early Math, or Early Reading, or both of those programs at the same time with one license. If a child is enrolled in SmartStart they can only be enrolled in that one program.
