Integrating Waterford with Schoology

If your organization uses Schoology as a course management program, staff and students can access Waterford courses through their Schoology account. To enable this feature, you will need to add the Waterford app to your organization’s account.

To connect the Waterford app with your Schoology account:

  1. Log in to Schoology and click on the app button.
  2. Click App Center.
  3. Enter Waterford Reading Academy in the search bar and click on the option with the following title and icon:
  4. Click Install App. A pop-up will appear.
  5. Select Yes, I Agree to confirm your decision.
  6. Click Install to Organization to allow all staff and students to access the Waterford app via Schoology.

Your users will then be able to access their Waterford lessons from Schoology.

Configuring Waterford Reading Academy

You will need to configure the Waterford Reading Academy app in order for it to work properly for your students and staff in Schoology. To configure the Waterford app after installation:

  1. Log in to Schoology and click on the app button.
  2. Click App Center, then click Organization Apps.
  3. Click on the Configure button to the right of the Waterford Reading Academy logo.
  4. Contact Waterford Support for the configuration key and shared secret, then add both to the required fields.
  5. Click Save Settings.

Your users will then be able to access their Waterford lessons from Schoology.
