Understanding the License Allocations Table (District Administrators Only)

District administrators have access to quickly view and understand how licenses are distributed across their district from the Organizations tab through the License Allocations tab.

The District Total row provides a snapshot of how licenses are distributed for schools within the district:

  • Purchased by District: total number of active licenses purchased on a district level
  • Reserved: total number of licenses reserved for a district
  • Unreserved: total number of licenses purchased for a district but not assigned to a specific school
  • Total: all active licenses (both assigned and unassigned) in a district
  • Assigned: all active licenses currently assigned to students and in use
  • Unassigned: all active licenses available to assign to students

Below District Total, you can find rows with information specific to individual schools within a district:

  • Reserved from District: number of licenses reserved for a school from the district total
  • Purchased by School: number of licenses purchased directly for a specific school by the district
Licenses within this category cannot be allocated to a different school and are separate from the district total.
  • Total: all active licenses (both assigned and unassigned) in a school
  • Assigned: all active licenses currently assigned to students and in use
  • Unassigned: all active licenses available to assign to students
