New Features
Track Student Success with the New Student Playlist Report
Affects:
Educators |
Waterford Early Learning
Educators can now see completion and score information for the playlists they assign to individual students. This new report provides visibility into student progress on assigned playlists, helping educators understand which activities have been completed and how students performed. Where applicable, the report displays standards alignment for Early Reading Program (ERP) activities.
While playlists may include both scored and non-scored items, only scored items contribute to the overall playlist score, and playlists that consist entirely of unscored activities (such as songs) will not produce a score in this report.

See How Your Class is Progressing with the Class Playlist Report
Affects:
Educators |
Waterford Early Learning
Educators can now access class-level insights to see how students collectively perform on assigned playlists. The Class Playlist Dashboard displays overall completion and score information, supporting data-informed instruction across the classroom.
While playlists may include both scored and non-scored items, only scored items contribute to the overall playlist score, and playlists that consist entirely of unscored activities (such as songs) will not produce a score in this report.

Enhanced Features
Improved Clarity in Mastered Objective Counts
Affects:
Educators |
Waterford Early Learning
Educators will see a change in how mastered objective totals in the Completion & Scores Dashboard and the Class Progress Report are reflected. These reports now count only the objectives students directly interacted with, bringing them into alignment with the Objective Details Report and making it easier to compare data across views.
This update removes passively mastered objectives—skills a student skips due to placement or testing out—from mastery counts. As a result, educators can rely on more consistent data when reviewing student progress and planning instruction.
Explore and Build Shapes with the Enhanced Tangrams Adventure
Affects: Caregivers |
Young Learners |
Educators | All Waterford Programs
Early learners now have a refreshed Tangrams activity that supports all skill levels. The updated activity lets children explore how composite shapes can be made by combining simple shapes, reinforcing a key early math concept in a fun and engaging way.
The activity includes gradual levels of difficulty, two activities per level, and refined drag-and-drop interactions designed to be easier for the youngest learners, making math exploration both accessible and exciting.
