New WACS Report for District Administrators
Affects: Waterford Reading Academy
District administrators now have access to a new Waterford Assessment of Core Skills (WACS) report to access district and school performance data for the selected benchmark.
New Feature: Restore Deleted Students
Affects: Waterford Reading Academy
Educators can now restore information for students they previously deleted in the Students tab of Waterford Reading Academy. When students are restored, they will need to be re-assigned to any classes, schools, and teachers.
Waterford Reading Academy App Now Available
Affects: Waterford Reading Academy
In response to customer feedback, we released a companion app that allows students to use Waterford Reading Academy on iPads and Android tablets. Kindle Fire compatibility will be released in the near future.
This app can be downloaded from the Apple and Google Play stores. You can recognize it by the following icon:
At this time, the companion app is for students only. Teachers will still need to access their account through a browser.
New Content Available in Waterford Reading Academy with Spanish Language Support
Affects: Waterford Reading Academy
Many new resources have been added for the back-to-school season, including:
- 110 new individual digital activities designed to teach foundational skills in phonological awareness and phonics
- 24 graphic organizers that support the development of communication and critical-thinking skills
All new digital activities include Language Support for Spanish.
