Waterford Early Learning: Setting Up Language Support for Individual Students
Waterford Early Learning includes language support for Spanish speakers. This allows the program to repeat directions in Spanish and English for your student.
Currently, this feature is only available for the SmartStart and Pre-Reading curricula.
Your administrator must first enable this feature before you can set it up for your students.
To set up this feature for an individual student:
- Log in to your Waterford account and click on the Students tab.

- Click View on the right side of the student you would like to enable this feature for.

- Scroll to Primary Language and choose Spanish from the drop-down bar.
- Click Save to confirm the child's primary language.

Your student will now receive language support in Spanish and English. You can adjust these language settings at any time as needed.
Currently, dual-language support is only available for Spanish speakers.
Here’s a step-by-step walkthrough in video format.
